Christine Ann Marchetti
Biography
Christine Ann Marchetti is the owner of Marchetti Family Law & Mediation with an office in Burlington, Ontario. She attended Western Law and was called to the bar in 2005. She is a DRO, has been a member of the legal panel at the Office of the Children’s Lawyer since 2014, has sat on the executive of the OBA (Family Law Section) since 2018 (currently CPD Liaison), is the Incoming Chair for the OBA Child and Youth Law Section, and is the outgoing Chair on the Board of Dundas Little Theatre (executive since 2018). Christine has her collaborative family law certification and is also an accredited family mediator with OAFM. Christine is a mother, theatre lover, and a bookworm.

Katherine L. Shadbolt
Biography
I have practiced in the area of family law and dispute resolution for 39 years, since 1986. Until June 30, 2023, I was a partner at a mid-size full service firm in Ottawa, where I provided the full range of family law services to clients, appearing at all levels of Court, and providing mediation services. I now act as a mediator and am focused on giving back to the profession by writing/teaching and mentoring. Currently I am an advisor with the LSO's Coach and Advisor Network (CAN) and a mentor on the Advocates Society's roster. I am also on the OBA ADR Section Executive Committee for a second term (2025-2026), as CPD liaison, and a member-at-large on the OBA Family Law Executive (2025-2026) & CBA Family Law Section (2024-2026).
Emily M. OKeefe
Biography
Emily is a lawyer with McLeod Green Dewar LLP practicing in the areas of family law and child protection. Prior to joining McLeod Green Dewar LLP, Emily articled and practiced at a leading family law firm in downtown Toronto, where she gained experience in all aspects of family law and estate litigation. A tenacious advocate, Emily has successfully represented clients at the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the specialized Estates List. Emily was chosen as the Platinum Winner for the 2021 Waterloo Region Readers Choice Award for Best Family Law Lawyer and was nominated by her peers in The Best Lawyers in Canada: Ones to Watch for 2024 and 2025. In addition to her private practice, Emily is a frequent speaker at legal conferences across Ontario and has been invited numerous times by the Ontario Bar Association as both a chair and speaker. Emily sits on the executive committee for the Ontario Bar Association’s Family Law Section and the Young Lawyer’s Division, and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates Society, and Young Women in Law. A firm believer in the importance of pro bono work, Emily volunteers as legal counsel for Luke’s Place, wherein she provides legal information to women experiencing intimate partner violence and has tailored her Legal Aid work to representing incarcerated parents in federal and provincial institutions seeking parenting time with their children. In her free time, Emily likes to read, support the arts through her involvement as a patron as the National Ballet of Canada, and spend time with her family and friends.
Adeboyin Adeniran
Biography
Adeboyin Adeniran is a family law lawyer based in Ontario, with a strong commitment to access to justice and client-centred advocacy. She was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2025 and has since focused her practice on supporting individuals and families through legal matters. Her practice is grounded in empathy, diligence, and a practical approach to dispute resolution. She is passionate about helping clients navigate family law issues with clarity and confidence, while working toward fair and sustainable outcomes. Beyond her legal practice, Adeboyin is a dedicated wife and mother of two. She brings a deeply personal understanding of family dynamics to her work, which informs her compassionate and balanced approach to advocacy. Adeboyin is committed to professional growth and active involvement within the legal community. Through her candidacy with the Ontario Bar Association, she aims to contribute to strengthening the profession and advancing initiatives that promote diversity, mentorship, and access to justice.
Kathleen Broschuk
Biography
Kathleen practices in all areas of family law, helping clients with matters including parenting, child and spousal support, separation agreements, and property division. Kathleen graduated from Queen’s University Faculty of Law. While in law school, Kathleen worked with Pro Bono Students Canada to provide community organizations with accessible legal information. She also volunteered with student orientation and a variety of student government committees. Kathleen was called to the Ontario Bar after articling with a mid-sized firm in Ottawa, Ontario. Kathleen also sits on the board of the Halton County Law Association. Prior to attending law school, Kathleen graduated with distinction from the University of Toronto where she completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts in political science and history.
