On Thursday, May 15, 2025, the government tabled A Plan to Protect Ontario, the 2025 provincial budget. Basic justice sector spending is projected at $6.7 billion in 2025-26, $6.5 billion in 2026-27, and $6.4 billion in 2027-28.
