The OBA office will be closed from December 24 to January 2 for the holidays and will resume normal operations on January 5.
On December 1, 2025, the Ontario Court of Justice commenced a pilot project that enables out of Court written consent releases to be issued by Judicial Officers for individuals in bail Court or case management Court, who are seeking a straightforward bail release on consent of the Crown’s office.
