As of October 13th, the Ontario Court of Justice has begun a pilot project to help streamline case management of complex criminal matters. The Single Judge Case Management for Complex Cases pilot project allows for the same judicial officer to manage a case throughout the case management phase. The pilot project will be launched in select locations across the province.
