Description

Andrew Stastny Professional Corporation practices exclusively criminal defence law, and is located in Toronto. We are expanding and seeking to hire an additional associate lawyer. We are looking for an additional associate lawyer, 0-5 years experience.

Position responsibilities would include:

Conducting initial consultations with clients; pre-trial negotiations and resolutions; drafting and legal research; conducting bail hearings; representing clients at trial in the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice.

Drivers’ Licence and access to a car would be needed, albeit it is expected that a fair amount of your time would be spent working remotely/virtually. The majority of the in person court practice would be in Toronto.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
