Singleton Urquhart Reynolds Vogel LLP is looking for an associate to join our dynamic construction and infrastructure law practice in our Toronto office. Founded in 1982, with its roots in construction litigation, the firm has grown to add a full complement of business law services including corporate commercial, tax planning and advice, estates planning, commercial real estate, and construction contracts. The role:

Singleton Reynolds is seeking a construction litigation associate with experience in complex claims involving infrastructure projects, contract claims, as well as some prior experience in dispute resolution processes.

What we are looking for:

Education/Experience

  • A Canadian common law degree or Certificate of Qualification, National Committee on Accreditation of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
  • Called to the bar in Ontario and a current member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • 3-5 years of legal practice experience
  • A grasp of foundational construction and contract law
  • Strong communication, file management, writing, and client service skills

Compensation:

$170,000 - $220,000 annually. Salary will be negotiated based on experience.
