Description

Summary of Role

The Outreach Marketing Coordinator plans outreach campaigns and reaches out to key stakeholders, members, volunteers, conference centre clients and sponsors. They assist with the annual section enrollment process and support some marketing campaigns, when required.

Reporting and Alignment

The Outreach Marketing Coordinator reports to the Associate Director of Marketing.

General Responsibilities

Outreach Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Plan outreach campaigns that include setting measurable goals and a clearly defined schedule that integrate with other elements of the project’s overall marketing plan
  • Conduct direct outreach to key stakeholders (firms, associations, thought leaders, etc.) for OBA events including PD, conferences, awards dinners and regional events.
  • Review the effectiveness of each campaign and assess its outcomes against the strategic goals that had been set.

Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Liaise with key firms, partners and sponsors to ensure they are informed of OBA programs and events

Sections Enrollment

  • Assist with the execution of the annual section enrollment campaign and group enrollment program.

Marketing Support

  • Assist with the execution of various marketing campaigns (Conference Centre, JUST Offices, etc.), as required
  • Conduct outreach to potential members as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role
  • University/College marketing certificate or diploma and/or equivalent work experience
  • Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Superior organizational capabilities with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Comfort in communicating with professionals at all levels
  • Outstanding computer skills, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel and knowledge of the IMIS database and web-based applications
  • The ability and desire to work both individually and as a team member

Additional skills that would be highly beneficial:

  • Experience in a not for profit and working with volunteers would be an asset
  • Trained in Accessibility and AODA is an asset
  • Bilingualism English/French would be asset

Salary Range

This is an existing role with a salary range of $40,000 – $48,000.
