Camilla Zhang
Biography
Camilla Zhang is an Assistant Crown Attorney with the Ministry of the Attorney General in the Central East Region. Her practice focuses on serious and violent offences, firearms prosecutions, and complex Charter litigation, including search and seizure issues and police powers. She regularly appears before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, including in jury trials and contested evidentiary proceedings. Camilla is actively involved in the legal community through the Ontario Bar Association’s Criminal Justice Section and has a particular interest in legal education, advocacy, and issues relating to the administration of justice. She is passionate about principled advocacy, public service, and advancing fair and effective justice outcomes. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time on the water and playing squash, and values community involvement and mentorship.
