Biography
Hyunju (Crystal) Park is an associate in Gowling WLG's Toronto office, practicing in the firm's Business Law department. Her practice encompasses assisting businesses in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, structuring, and general corporate/commercial matters, with a focus on commercial technology transactions.
Crystal holds a Global Professional LLM from the University of Toronto, LLM in International Business Law (Thesis Track) from the University of Macau and an LLB from Yonsei University (South Korea).
Crystal currently serves as Section Executive (Newsletter Editor) for both the OBA Civil Litigation and Business Law sections for the 2023-2024 term. She also sits on the Board of Directors of the ITLNCA Networks Association, the not-for-profit organisation that formally started to facilitate OCIs for internationally-trained lawyers.

Biography
Monique Rabideau is the Practice Lead, Capital Markets and Securities for Practical Law Canada at Thomson Reuters. Practical Law Canada is a web-based legal solution. A team of expert lawyers creates and maintains updated information and precedents that provide legal know-how to lawyers, clerks and law students. Monique is a director and Past Chair of the Board of the Dancer Transition Resource Centre, the national charity that has been helping dancers across Canada make necessary transitions into, within, and from professional performing careers since 1985. Monique is also currently a director of Orford Mining Corporation, a TSX Venture-listed gold and critical mineral explorer operating in Northern Quebec. Previously, she was a director of eCobalt Solutions Inc., a TSX-listed company that was advancing a primary cobalt project in Idaho. Monique graduated magna cum laude from McGill in 1988 then obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto in 1991 after which she joined Fogler, Rubinoff LLP, a full service law firm in downtown Toronto. After 5 years, she was made a capital partner and left the firm after 22 years of private practice in the business law department. Monique assisted a variety of businesses with their legal needs, such as compliance with legal obligations and regulatory matters, corporate governance, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, borrowing, lending, issuances of securities and drafting documents such as disclosure, correspondence and agreements. She has also acted as secretary to many boards of directors. Clients have been in a wide range of industries and have ranged from private corporations solely owned by an individual to publicly-traded conglomerates. Monique has acted for dealers on financings through private placements and public offerings as well as their corporate acquisitions and reorganizations. Biography
I graduated from McGill University with a B. A. with honours in political science in 1971 and then Graduated from McGill University with LLB. in 1974 and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1976.
In the late 1970’s I taught a basic law course at Algonquin College and produced the booklet "Starting Your Own Business". I was one of the instructors for the commercial law section of the Bar Admissions Course for the Law Society of Upper Canada in Ottawa from 1998- 2005.
I an active member of S.T.E.P. (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) (Canada) and a past chair of the Ottawa branch and a former member of the national board of directors. I served as the programming chair before becoming Chair of the Branch.
I hold the designation of TEP.
I sat for several years on the Board of Advisors of the National Capital American Chamber of Commerce Chapter.
I received my Certified Specialist designation in Corporate and Commercial Law in October 2004 from the Law Society of Upper Canada. I currently am a member of the executive of the Business Law section of the OBA in the position of Chair. I previously sat on both the ethics and anti-corruption committees of the CBA. My practice is restricted to corporate and commercial and estate and tax planning-related matters.
