The “Raising the Pro Bono Bar” events are a celebration for the legal profession and are attended by volunteer lawyers, members of the judiciary, articling students and law students.

The “Raising the Pro Bono Bar” events are a celebration for the legal profession and are attended by volunteer lawyers, members of the judiciary, articling students and law students. PBLA works in collaboration with the pro bono clinics to host these events which are held to recruit new lawyers as volunteers and to recognize those lawyers who are already volunteering. In 2012, Raising the Pro Bono Bar events were hosted Grande Prairie (May 3), Lethbridge (May 10) and Edmonton (May 31). Plans will be made to host these events in early 2013 Calgary (February 28) and Red Deer (date to be determined).
