I am a litigator who specializes in family law, personal injury, and construction law.

HIGHLIGHTS OF MY PRO BONO WORK

I have acted as pro bono counsel for the Inter-Church Refugee Group. I have assisted refugees in dealing with predatory employers and landlords. In one of my cases, I assisted a widowed refugee who was prevented from changing her children’s names (one of whom was given no last name on his documents upon his arrival in Canada) because she could not obtain her husband’s death certificate nor provide his consent to changing the name of her children to match her own.

WHY I DO THIS PRO BONO WORK

Working with the refugee community is among the most rewarding work I do. Here is where my legal skills are truly helping the neediest of people.
