Effective October 14, 2025, all electronic court filings in Toronto for the following proceedings in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Justice must be submitted through the Ontario Courts Public Portal (OCPP).
- Civil proceedings (including Commercial List, Bankruptcy and Contested Estates)
- Divisional Court proceedings
- Small Claims Court proceedings
- Enforcement proceedings
- Family proceedings
The Justice Services Online (JSO) portal will stop accepting filings for Toronto courts at 5:00 p.m. on October 3, 2025. Accordingly, between October 4 and October 13, online filings will not be available for Toronto matters. For urgent or time-sensitive filings, documents may be filed in person at the courthouses with expanded hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) or submitted by email.
